• High School Game of the week,

    The high school game of the week should have been on Bishop O'Dowd and Tennyson.  Or of course, whom ever the actual opponent to O'Dowd is.  Reason being, that Friday October 2, 2009 is historical in the sense that O'Dowd will have field lights during a night game in "Hecka Years", if not ever, as I understand it.  I believe it has far more significance, than simply revenue and/or resources for the institution as a whole.  This poll was regarding football, and I am aware that De La Sally' (oops), De La Salle (respectfully, I just couldn't resist), had the best record in Bay Area High school ball, however, big things, make big news.  So KTVU, would you please be true to Journalism and be sure to recognize this mile stone for Bishop O'Dowd, which just so happens to be located, right here in the heart of EAST OAkland on 98th!!!!!!  Nothing but stars, coming out of there.
