Despite our problems, the beauty of our great country is the people themselves.
Young and old, each of us hold the keys of our past and future.
These photo's, reflect a slice of Americana and I'm honored that each of these individuals
in giving me a moment in taking their photograph.
This video is dedicated to each of those kind individuals.

Interesting and it brings anger for me as a Taxpayer, futhermore Arnold S our governor appointed her to the high paying waste management board that meets a few times a year, bringing her over $6,000 per meeting.
Talking on her cell phone, erractic driving, telling the victim that she was a state senator. She has "No Recall". Sounds like a "Legal Term"
Total "Waste Managment"
The DMZ (the demilitarized zone) above the 38th parallel between
North Korea and South Korea. The DMZ stretches across the Korean
Peninsula from East to West (155 miles).
Throughout the visit, we are constantly reminded not to take photos,
and only at selected security stripped yellow line areas, photos are
forbidden while in the tunnel. Heavy security is present.
The DMZ is a hot spot now cause of the CNN coverage of the present
news on the North Korean nuclear threat, and US relations with North
Korea's leaders. Surely the DMZ has historical significance and is
one of the many tourist attractions.
Being at the DMZ, and walking over the Freedom Bridge is a moment
I will never forget, writing, the whole world should be one
family.
Pleasanton Harvest Festival Comforts Creatures and Community
Festival partners with the Valley Humane Society to raise awareness
The Harvest Festival Original Art and Craft Show® is the largest indoor arts and crafts show on the West Coast, and the show has always had a longstanding reputation of giving back to communities where the show stops.
The Pleasanton Harvest Festival, happening September 11-13 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds, is proud to once again partner with the Valley Humane Society as its official charity. Valley Humane Society (VHS) is an animal welfare organization advocating responsible pet ownership. Its mission is to provide the community with educational outreach and collaborative programs that enrich the bond between people and companion animals and eliminate unnecessary euthanasia.
The Harvest Festival will provide the VHS with a $500 donation, in addition to all of the proceeds from the parcel check and half the proceeds of the shopping bag sales. The VHS will also be hosting a Kid Zone, which is a specialized area set aside for children to participate in hands on arts and crafts. Because of the show’s warm and inviting atmosphere, it selected a charity that depends very much on the support of families and people with good homes.
“Valley Humane Society is thrilled to partner with the Harvest Festival again,” said Program Director Wendy McNelley. “Every year VHS rescues hundreds of homeless pets and places them with loving families, and the Harvest Festival gives us the perfect opportunity to expand on our mission.”
The Pleasanton Harvest Festival is also recognizing the growing need for food donations by partnering with the Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB) for its “Food Share” program. The ACCFB’s mission is to alleviate hunger by providing nutritious food and nutrition education to people in need, educating the public, and promoting public policies that address hunger and its root causes. The organization will collect food at the entrance to the Harvest Festival, and offer a discount coupon to those who choose to donate.
For over 37 years, the Harvest Festival’s unique shopping and entertainment atmosphere has continued to enamor customers of all ages and walks of life. Shoppers can browse and select from thousands of unique, handmade items, including jewelry, photographs, sculptures, pottery, accessories, specialty foods and more.

Sonora has an old fashioned parade, that will take place in downtown Sonora Saturday Morning. Held each Mother's Day weekend for decades, the family oriented parade is filled with marching bands, colorful riders, horses, and is a Mother Lode Treasure in the 3+ hour event.
Its always best to get there early and many viewers place their folding chairs the night before.
In the afternoon, is the Rodeo at the Sonora Fair Grounds.
Sonora is about 2.5 hours East of the Bay Area via Hwy 108/120.
The weather will be perfect for exploring the Mother Lode
Enclosed is a small YouTube Video from last years Parade.
It seems like yesterday, when I held her for the first time at birth. That was 18 year ago.
I clearly remember when she was about 18 months old, and I asked for her to get me a bar of soap. I could not believe she understood.
I recall the time, when I asked for her to hold my 1970's cell phone in the car and I thought there could be a lesson and I stated. Do you know when dad was growing up there wasn't phones in cars and matter of fact there was not color in TV. A moment passed and the 7 year old said. "Dad was there color in crayons?"
She graduates soon from high school, she has started college, we have in common the love of baseball, travel, people, sushi, technology and she has her mother's looks.
The life of a child is precious and I understand as a parent what a blessing we have in our children.
Dissertation writing is not an easy task and it is extremely challenging for almost all students. Dissertation writing is the most important part of your degree. It requires dedication, perseverance, ability to do in-depth research and determination. Writing up dissertation is challenging but not impossible and you should try to facilitate your dissertation writing process by following the following valuable tips:
1. The most important thing you need to do, when it comes to writing your dissertation, is not to procrastinate at all. Set up a plan that how you are going to be writing your dissertation and make sure you stick to it.
2. Idea development is something that can procrastinate your dissertation writing process dramatically. This is the part where students struggle a lot. What you need to do now is to write down the topics that you find interesting. When you are in class or listening to a lecture or reading an article, etc, just write down what you find interesting. Then you can discuss your ideas with your advisor and fellow students to decide the theme for your dissertation. However, you must prepare yourself to struggle; it’s not an easy task at all.
3. Don’t choose a topic that doesn’t fascinate you. If you choose a topic that doesn’t fascinate you and you find it difficult then you will never be able to finish writing a dissertation on time. You will also end up procrastinating. Writing about something that you find interesting will keep you motivated and focused. Therefore, choose a topic that you find interesting.
4. If you need to find out about any particular experience or problem faced by general public and its impact on their lives, then do not limit yourself to your friends and family. Talk to people you don’t even know and ask them if they faced this problem and what their experiences were.
5. Ask your friends and fellow students about what you can add to your dissertation. Discussing your topic with them and getting their valuable tips will enable you to add quality content to your dissertation.
6. Make sure you stay in touch with your advisor and talk to him whenever you get stuck or feel confused. If you can only stay in touch with your advisor, you will notice that the motivation you get from him encourages you to stay on track and write your dissertation successfully.
7. Another form of dissertation help that is gaining popularity is dissertation writing service. You can find them in numbers on the Google. Their authenticity is still debatable, but they can certainly give you some references or direction to work with.
Consider writing a dissertation to be something extremely fascinating. I understand that it will be difficult for you to think about your dissertation like this but it will at least keep you calm mentally. Thinking about dissertation writing as something almost impossible to accomplish, won’t do any good. First, tell yourself that you can write your dissertation, then follow the tips mentioned in this article, do thorough research and get your degree.

You know what bothers me is that the news keeps sending a report from the government of how many FILED claims of unemployment each month and what bothers me is that the numbers does not include those like my friend who is no longer eligible because she's been on it for too long cos she can't find a job so they won't give her any more so she dosn't count in the numbers they report each month of unemployment. So- that tells me the numbers are way higher than the government wants to admit and I don't know how my friend is supposed to live without unemployment, right now she's getting by on a wing and a prayer and her friends have been helping her make it but they can't do that forever so what does the government want- her to end up on the street cos she IS one rent payment away from that, so I wonder how many others are out there not able to get unemployment anymore who are not in the count and how many others are one rent payment away from the street and how many others are only holding in there by the grace of god and friends and how many others havn't been able to get a job in 2 years and I've watched her go on job interviews and send out resumes! Are you one of those not counted? Speak up!
