    Today around 2:30 took a ride to Mt Diablo and found local hand gliders pilots enjoying the break in the weather.

    Two were in the sky and these three were waiting for the next steady wind to join their buddies.

    Here is some photos of the Funnel Clouds spotten in Discovery Bay today 1.23.2010.  They happen to go right over my home. We had thunder, Hail, extremely cold temps and these amazing cloud formations. I have more photos that show how tremendous the conditions around the area were. I was in awe. There were many shoots (small funnels?) coming off the surrounds clouds. I could not believe what I was seeing.  I hope you enjoy what we caught today. Truly a once in a lifetime event.
